Leap Forward with Intention

Updated: Dec 31, 2022

This is what excites me the most when it comes to celebrating the new year. I'll share some of my go-to journaling prompts that help me reflect, set intentions, and manifest. I hope you enjoy it!

"I know that the answer to what we need to do next is in our own hearts. All we have to do is listen, then... trust whatever we hear. - Melody Beattie

When I listen to my intuition, body, heart, and inner voice, I hear a great silence - I feel a powerful energy in me that only truth can offer.

In between where I am and where I want to be, there is timeless, boundless peace. There is an opportunity to be still as I find myself in the gap between the past and the future, knowing that this is the space where I was called to come alive.

2023, I feel the momentum you're bringing. I don't have to figure it all out. I am free to take this moment by moment and see the wholeness of it all: some things will be different, some things will be easier, some things will make sense, while others leave me with questions. But altogether, these mountains and valleys create a landscape where, somehow, through it all, everything finds its place.

My heart is at ease knowing that what was meant for me will never miss me, and what misses me was never meant for me. - Imam Al-Shafi’I

Intentional New Year Journaling Prompts

I love starting with a new journal from Paperblanks and finding a quote to help set a theme for the coming year (hopefully, @paperblanks sponsors me).

What's your quote?

After choosing a quote, I'd like to settle down by having a moment of silence or meditation. You can listen to a guided meditation I recorded to start the process.

"What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compares to what lies within us."- Ralph Waldo Emerson

In this new year, I hope we let go of what was not right for us. I hope that we learn to step out of the boundaries of our minds, believing that in time, it all will be woven together beautifully. Your story might be unfolding differently than expected. I hope you see that life continues to open your eyes to all the possibilities of what this life could be, even in uncertainty.

So, let us continue to trust by making mindful and intentional steps toward where we are meant to be. Where you are meant to be, you will be there in time, no matter your age or stage of life. Trust your vibes. Energy doesn't lie.

Much love and gratitude,

Patti
